SPLAT! raises funds which provide youths-at-risk and ex-youth offenders with educational programmes that light up the gateway to success through empowerment.
Sales of Public Education Memorabilia

Youths-at-risk, aftercare supervisees, ex-youth offenders and other youths go door-to-door in housing estates to share with the public the concerns and challenges which youths-at-risk and ex-youth offenders face. They collaborate collectively and through their interactions with the public and each other, embody the public messages of rehabilitation and reintegration. They raise funds for youths-at-risk and ex-youth offenders receiving assistance from educational programmes conducted by the Children-At-Risk Empowerment Association, Singapore (CARE Singapore) and the Student Advisory Centre. As a volunteer empowerment platform, SPLAT!'s sales of public education memorabilia develop their confidence, persevearance and resilience. Since 2008, nine rounds of sales have been held to 6,825 households from four housing estates, raising S$14,182.36 for the Children-At-Risk Empowerment Association, Singapore (CARE Singapore) and the Student Advisory Centre. |
